Nature is a great source of artistic inspiration! This week will learn about our the garden ecosystem, but also encourage our creative side by M favorite garden and nature-focused crafts and provide introductory photography lessons. We’ll get inspiration from patterns in nature and create bird feeders, seed art, and more. Each day we’ll share garden snack recipes, fun activities, and crafts that help us connect to the farm through our artistic lens.

Spend a week making exciting, new recipes that incorporate seasonal Colorado produce! From the comfort of your home kitchen, join our Farm Chef as she guides you on a Farm to Table cooking journey. Cooking camp will include two daily recipes that may include breakfast, lunch, and snack recipes. Plus, each week will include a dinner recipe for the whole family to celebrate the end of your week. We’ll share lessons on kitchen safety, crafts, and outdoor activities to explore the journey your food makes before it gets to your table. Please note: adult supervision is recommended, especially for younger campers. Ingredients are not included, but an ingredient list will be provided in advance.

We’ll learn about the intricate systems that allow our plants to flourish as we explore this amazing world right in our own backyard! We’ll follow our collective curiosity to discover the mysteries of honeybees, learn about composting worms, and meet the dairy goats that are a part of our farm every day. No matter how small, all creatures play an important role in our garden ecosystem.

It’s peak harvest season AND time to plant your fall garden! We’ll learn how to tell when your produce is ripe and ready to harvest and how to prepare fresh garden snacks or preserve it to enjoy later. Want to keep your garden growing in the fall? It may still be hot, but our farmers are already planning for cool-season crops. We’ll provide you with the seeds you need to keep the food flowing. Each day we’ll share activities and knowledge that explore the seasonal transition and help you prepare for cooler temps in the garden. We’ll also share how to put your garden to bed at the end of the season so you’ll be off to a great start next spring!
